Disabled Citizens Alliance
2018 Medicare Open Enrollment
The upcoming Medicare Annual Enrollment Period for coverage in 2018 runs from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7, 2017. All Medicare beneficiaries should review their health care needs for the upcoming year to see if changes to their current coverage are necessary.
Plan costs and coverage change each year, so beneficiaries are advised to make sure their plan still meets their health needs and budget. By shopping available plans and comparing costs, beneficiaries may be able to find a Medicare health or drug plan with better coverage or a lower premium in 2018. The Disabled Citizens Alliance (DCAI) has two certified CLAIM counselors available to assist beneficiaries in checking their coverage.
